2. Our wonderful Savior offered profitable promises for people who plant seed in fertile soil as we work together to Spread God’s saving and miracle-working Gospel: “Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)

3. Today is the day to sow into souls. It is in this moment, that it is urgently needed for God’s people to give generously to His work; especially during these incredibly important days of open doors: “My food,” said Jesus, “Is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages; even now he harvests the crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true.” (John 4:34-37)

4. What an awesome privilege we have by donating to His work. In fact, God actually asks and challenges His children to test Him through our gifts: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit,” says the LORD Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the LORD Almighty.” (Malachi 3:10-12)

*This is actually the only place in the Bible where God asks us to test Him. Why? God has chosen to work through everyday people to do extraordinary things in Ministry! Our matchless Father, likewise, promises special benefits to those who show their faith by donating. It isn’t an idle request, but a benefit-filled mandate.
